Welcome to Lotus Academy
Lotus Academy provides specialist education for children and young people aged 5–16 with a primary need of Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH).
The majority of pupils attending Lotus Academy have a diagnosis of Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) and associated needs. Our pupils typically work at or around age-related expectations and benefit from a structured, nurturing environment that promotes independence, resilience, and positive relationships.
At Lotus Academy, we are committed to creating a calm, inclusive learning community where learners feel safe, understood, and valued. Through a personalised curriculum, specialist support, and high expectations, we enable pupils to develop the academic, social, and emotional skills they need to thrive both in school and beyond. All of our pupils have Education and Health Care Plans.
